Get ready for Expo 2025 Osaka
The next World Expo will kick off in Osaka, Japan in April 2025 and run for six months, and Bray Leino Events will be there.
That's because we’ve been appointed by the Department for Business and Trade (DBT) to deliver all activity on the UK’s custom-built pavilion.
The pavilion is already under construction at the 155-hectare expo site on Yumeshima Island and will offer expo visitors a unique showcase of UK culture and values - celebrating our long partnership with Japan and the rest of the world, both now and in the future.
Planning for this mammoth event is already well under way, our specialist team taking responsibility for the full operational services of the UK pavilion. This includes:
- Planning and delivery of a full meetings and events programme across the six-months of Expo
- Management and delivery of the UK pavilion’s retail, staffing, product design, and supply chain
- Showcasing UK food and drink through the UK pavilion’s restaurant and bar alongside our partners Mosimann’s
- All general staffing and support services across the UK’s entire Expo 2025 Osaka activity
This huge tender win follows our appointment last year as DBT’s primary event delivery partner across all specialist, ministerial, and trade events in the UK and internationally, for the next five years.
Bray Leino Event MD Luke Brown said: "It’s an honour to be selected to deliver the UK’s Expo 2025 Osaka activity. Our focus now is to deliver a benchmark for creativity and execution on the world stage – a celebration of all the things that make the UK great.”
Bray Leino Events CEO Kate Cox said: “The Bray Leino Events team continues to go from strength to strength. Our agency is already a trusted and proven public sector partner when it comes to large scale, international events. Expo is another chance to demonstrate that quality and professionalism. We look forward to making this Expo live long in people’s memory.
Alongside 160 participating nations, the UK’s presence in Osaka will promote our best culture, business, education, and sport, offering opportunities for UK businesses to showcase their products and services on a global stage. The island is expected to welcome more than 28 million visitors over the six-month duration of Expo 2025 Osaka.
