Greater Together LA brought together UK and US business leaders, investors, innovators and policymakers in Los Angeles for a week of high-profile networking, cultural exchange and thought leadership.

Curating an exceptional delegate experience

Designed to strengthen transatlantic relationships and showcase the best of UK business and creativity, the programme moved fluidly between business, culture and entertainment with sessions spanning iconic LA venues including the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures and nya Studios, alongside curated receptions and networking experiences across the city.

Working alongside the GREAT team and agency partners, Bray Leino Events helped shape the delegate experience from the very beginning, delivering recruitment, communications, logistics and stakeholder engagement to ensure a seamless and well-coordinated experience for all involved.

Over seven months, our team designed and managed key touchpoint of the delegate journey, delivering a wide range of delegate-facing activity - from invitations, communications and newsletters through to registration, accreditation, vetting, badges, delegate and staff packs, as well as a dedicated event app and website, ensuring a seamless experience from first invitation to heading to Los Angeles.

Beyond delegate management, the team also played a key role in speaker and sponsor engagement, working closely with partners to support the thought leadership programme and acting as a logistical point of contact throughout the event journey. From managing communications and logistics to supporting arrivals and onsite requirements, the focus was on making every interaction feel effortless.

The programme featured a range of high-profile speakers and industry figures spanning business, culture and technology, including names such as Gareth Southgate and Simon Cowell, alongside senior leaders from global organisations and creative industries. Their sessions formed part of a broader agenda designed to bring together leadership, creativity and innovation in one setting.

On the ground in Los Angeles, the team played a key role in bringing the experience to life, overseeing complex crew accreditation, managing all entry points and the VIP desk at both the opening reception at the Academy Museum and Nya Studios, and personally welcoming delegates upon arrival at the Four Seasons.

Whether moving between a breakfast briefing, a high-energy reception or a thought leadership session at Nya Studios, delegates experienced a programme that felt connected, curated and easy to navigate - blending business, creativity and culture in a way that made every moment feel intentional.

A delegate journey from take-off to touchdown

The delegate experience began well before the programme itself, with carefully coordinated international travel and arrival logistics designed to ensure a smooth transition into Los Angeles. Delegates travelled on a privately chartered flight featuring a live brass band onboard, setting the tone for a programme built around experience and connection.

From the moment delegates landed, they were supported through a tightly coordinated network of transfers, accommodation, registration and onsite support across the programme.

As with any international programme, there were challenges along the way. When essential badge-printing equipment was unexpectedly delayed in transit just days before the event, the team quickly put contingency plans into action while working tirelessly to resolve the issue behind the scenes. Thanks to a collaborative effort and some quick thinking, registration ran smoothly and delegates enjoyed a seamless experience from start to finish.
