CYBERUK: Cyber security conference

CYBERUK is the UK government’s flagship cyber security event. A major gathering for the entire global industry, hosted by the National Cyber Security Centre, we've delivered every one since 2016.

The challenge:

Deliver NCSC’s vision for the most open, engaging, and inclusive event yet, plus manage logistics for the 2,000 delegates, 145 expert speakers, and 370 exhibitors - under levels of security you’d expect from an event of this nature.

Staged in Birmingham for the first time to showcase their cyber-security solutions to some of the world’s leading technology buyers.

45 live sessions were tiered in terms of technical sophistication, from one – ‘Introductory Session’, accessible to most people, up to five – ‘Technical Masterclass’.

And with a gala ‘Leaders Dinner’ the night before, breakout streams and networking sessions throughout, we delivered relevant experiences across this wide audience.

To inspire the next generation of professionals, students from local schools were invited for a full CYBERUK experience, where they could test their cyber skills in an escape room type scenario and learn more about career opportunities in the industry.

CYBERUK featured plenty of opportunities for engagement.

Delegates were challenged to compete against each other in the Cyber Games, while an Innovation Zone showcased up-and-coming technology vendors, and the Spotlight Stage gave selected delegates five-minutes on the mic to present their thoughts and ideas.

The live streams were wildly successful, with over 16,000 tuning in live – including 3,000 for the opening plenary, 600 new YouTube subscribers and almost 30,000 views of on-demand content in the days following the event.

We delivered sponsorship and exhibition sales to ensure CYBERUK could be delivered at minimal cost to the taxpayer.

“A huge thanks to the whole Bray Leino team for your fantastic work in delivering CYBERUK. It was an amazing event. A long time coming, but I can safely say that we really made our mark. It was so brilliant to bring the security community together again.”
